WASHINGTON—Today, the Blue Dog Coalition, which focuses on issues related to national security, announced its endorsement of two bills to help combat the threat of domestic terrorism and protect our nation’s classified information from those who participated in the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol and members of the QAnon conspiracy movement.

WASHINGTON—The members of the Blue Dog Coalition sent a letter to House leadership this week calling on them to pursue bipartisan mechanisms to gather the facts regarding the actions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) at the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak and throughout the pandemic.

WASHINGTON—Today, the Democratic Blue Dog Coalition released its policy recommendations for both Congress and the Trump Administration to consider as they continue to respond to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The recommendations were developed within the policy parameters of the Blue Dog Coalition’s five policy task forces.

WASHINGTON—Today, the Blue Dog Coalition, which focuses on issues related to fiscal responsibility and national security, announced its endorsement of H.R. 5209, Raising the Bar Act of 2019, which would help hold social media companies accountable and stop the spread of terrorist content online in a way that would “raise the bar” for social media companies to shut down terrorist activity on their platforms. The legislation was introduced by Rep. Max Rose (NY-11), Co-Chair of the Blue Dog Task Force on National Security and Chair of the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence & Counterterrorism.
